My church & state performances, scripts and photos look at the aspects of life we are taught to believe are natural, but in actuality are limits and rituals created by religions and governement. Calling a historically and geographically specific form of behaviour, or concept, 'natural' is a form of propaganda, which only serves the interests of the powerful, usually by limiting the lives of others.
